Kovács Nimród Winery (Eger)

The essence of fine wine is rooted in the unique terroir, where the grapes are raised. The Kovács Nimród winery has three of the top terroirs in the Eger wine growing region in Hungary. Since Eger is a cool climate region, similar to Burgundy or cooler climates of California, varieties that feel very much at home have been planted and they produce world class wines. In addition to these international varietals which include Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, the winery also proudly features traditional Hungarian varietals, such as Furmint and Kékfrankos.

The Kovács Nimród winery cultivates today 30 hectares of vineyards with strong yield control and sustainable practices - every year the grapes are hand harvested.

Szent Tamás Winery (Tokaj)

The Szent Tamás vineyards got classified among the first ones in the world and are considered to be the best ones in the Tokaj region in Hungary. Most of the wines are based on furmint, one of white grape varieties with the highest global potential. The winery is led by István Szepsy Jr., 18th generation winemaker of the Szepsy family.

The winery is located in the hearth of the Tokaj region, in Mád - the village with the largest total wine growing area altogether. Many of the vineyards here are located on the hillsides of inactive volcanoes and considered to be grand cru locations. Szent Tamás cultivates today 20 hectares of vineyards with strong yield control to present the unique flavours that originate from the diverse soil-structures.

Vida Winery (Szekszárd)

The Szekszárd wine region has demonstrated for millennia that it is a unique habitat. There is an unrivalled opportunity to produce great red wines in the east and south-west valleys of the hills – the secret lies in the hidden valleys where unique microclimates develop.

The Vida estate currently covers an area of 20 hectares and is cultivated by 2 generations in harmony. Come and taste how junior and senior Peter Vida working together convert the the region's unique conditions into elegant, balanced red wines that offer exotic finesse.

Vylyan Winery (Villány)

Soil, climate and hard, enthusiastic work of an open-minded professional team sets Vylyan apart: today it counts as one of the trendsetters in the Villány wine region in Southern Hungary. Selecting 'Vylyan' as the name of the enterprise reflects Vylyan's commitment to the region - this word was used for today's modern 'Villány' in a 15th century manuscript.

Tradition indeed means a lot for the winery: the quill pen served as inspiration for its logo. While the plantations date back to 1992 and are on the beautifully located slopes of the Villány Hills, the winery set foot on the Black Hill (Fekete-hegy).
